We're delighted to announce that our planning team has been given a commendation in the RTPI's planning awards under the planning consultancy of the year.

The judges commented that "The firm combines sound research, insight and imagination with a hard-headed approach to implementation."

Colin Buchanan's multidisciplinary practice makes best use of a team of just eight chartered planners in England and Ireland. It has benefited from the increased prominence of infrastructure planning in the past two years, confirming its ability to deliver plans with a sound information base, balanced judgments and a strong team spirit. Recent work includes a seminar series for the Planning Advisory Service, guidance on effective section 106 deals and statements of community involvement, a study of infrastructure priorities in Thurrock and a high-level regeneration study in Belfast.
