Good urban design is a vital element in creating attractive and sustainable places. By bringing together a wide variety of specialist disciplines urban design is the skill of shaping thriving urban environments, in which we are happy to live, work, recreate and move around. Colin Buchanan's expertise has brought success to a wide range of projects, by designing street corridors, squares, neighbourhoods or entire sectors of cities to create viable and high quality urban environments.
Our team includes architects, landscape architects, urban designers and graphic designers, who work closely with our own in-house planners, traffic engineers, economists and transport planners. We work in the UK, Ireland and overseas on projects ranging from masterplanning major new urban settlements to designing open spaces for communities.
