We are at the leading edge of transport and economic appraisal. This includes analysis of Wider Economic Benefits of transport schemes, the value of street improvements, the economic impact of high density development and the value for money of Smarter Choices.

• We developed the UK methodology for estimating agglomeration impacts of major transport schemes based on our work on Crossrail
• We have evaluated the financial and economic impacts of Smarter Choices measures helping to fine tune implementation
• Our work on valuing streetscape improvements show the direct economic impacts of these and was published in the groundbreaking Paved with Gold publication for CABE
• We have also undertaken economic appraisal on transport schemes ranging from toll roads to airports to light rapid transport systems
