We are delighted to announce that Simon Babes has rejoined Colin Buchanan’s London office.
He has been based in Shanghai since 2004, during which time he successfully launched and managed the growth of the company’s China operation. Whilst in China, Simon was responsible for the delivery of a significant number of projects for transport operators, Government departments, private sector developers and World Expo pavilions. He joins the board with a remit covering Pedestrian Planning and Surveys. Prior to his move to China, Simon was London Underground’s Modelling & Standards Manager.
Chris Morley has taken over as manager in China and has been working in our Shanghai office since leaving Halcrow. He will continue to develop Colin Buchanan’s local expertise in transport planning and pedestrian modelling.
Atholl Noon, Director, says “We are pleased to welcome Simon to the London office; he will add a new dimension to our capabilities and a fresh perspective on transport planning in this country.”
