Surbiton BTN
CB has been awarded a contract to set up a business travel network in Surbiton town centre
The team in place will be working with businesses in the town centre to find out where improvements to travel and transport in their area would best support their staff to travel more sustainably. Organisations will be provided advice and support on developing travel plans (where appropriate) and supporting initiatives such as match funding and free cycle stands will be promoted to them.
The team is also responsible for networks within the London Borough of Kingston in Kingston town centre and Chessington Industrial Estate, developing travel options leaflets for all, arranging and conducting group meetings to discuss travel improvements. The team has developed graphics on behalf of the council to promote their activities such as free cycle training, maintenance courses and doctor bike events which have been circulated to all businesses with the networks.
CB is also responsible for four other networks in the London Borough of Sutton working on behalf of Transport for London and the Smarter Travel Sutton team.
