Colin Buchanan has met the target of registering 50% of businesses covering 6,000 employees in Sutton Town Centre and Cheam village to join a Business Travel Network.
Business Travel Networks have improved the travel options for staff and visitors to the local areas by listening to local businesses and developing an action plan to meet their travel needs.
We will continue to monitor and work with the two networks to enable handover after two years and are now working to secure funding and travel plan support packages for many of the key businesses. We are also working with TfL on the lessons learned from this initiative so that they can plan similar networks in adjacent boroughs.
