Colin Buchanan provided transport advice and supporting analysis for St. James’s Investments for a major regeneration scheme in Woolwich Town Centre, which includes a new Civic Office building for Greenwich Council, a superstore and other retail units, community facilities, and some 1000 dwellings.

This was a site that needed a fully multi-disciplinary approach with very careful consideration of walking, cycling, urban design, buses, interchange and traffic which was ideally suited to our in-house skills. Colin Buchanan helped to achieve planning permission for the development by working closely with Greenwich Council and Transport for London. Public consultation was another key part of the application process.
