Colin buchanan

Colin Buchanan was appointed by the Armagh Down Tourism Partnership to undertake an audit of 13 Christian Heritage sites along the St Patrick’s Trail.

The thirteen sites included monastic sites, High Cross, Museum and several other sites of archaeological interest. Colin Buchanan has been engaged to assess the quality of the existing visitor experience and make recommendations for the improvement of each site. The recommendations will inform an application for financial assistance to the Northern Ireland Tourist Board Signature Project to undertake the proposed improvement works. We also assisted with the preparation of the application for funding and the supporting business plan. Both are now being considered for a potential offer of financial assistance by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
